Why Us?

SG Krav Maga Force has Military Training Experience in Singapore Armed Forces 2017-2018.

There is a growing number of Krav Maga Organisations around the word, finding the right school for you may become a challenge and we are here to help you make an informed decision to start your Krav Maga training. Since the inception of the Krav Maga self-defense system, early adopters united in order to learn, develop and impart the knowledge and skills of Krav Maga which is developed from the late founder Imi lichtenfeld, a Hungarian-born Israeli martial artist. The practical applications of Imi's system is adopted by military combat personnel in Israel and it's effectiveness attracted martial arts experts and soldiers across the world.

Imi's system continues to be promoted globally and experts from the founding organisation started to spread the teachings in their own clubs/branches that eventually lead them to head their own organisations. Strictly following Imi's philosophy, principles of training and advancing his system for modern day self-defence and defence in military warfare.

Singapore Krav Maga Force is one Organisation that offers Krav Maga training in line with Imi's system, philosophy and principles of training.

Our Purpose

The key principle of our organisation is our aim to advance the practicality of Imi's self-defence system and International mobility. Our Partners' certificates allows for global mobility in consensual agreement. We recognise IUKMF, SMART Krav Maga, Kravolution and IMKM. Members from Partnering Organisations can continue Krav Maga training with us and interested organisation can work with us to continue all members Internationally at their level of proficiency and qualification attained based on the 15 Grade system, namely; 5 Practitioner, 5 Graduate and 5 Expert Levels.

Side notes: There exist organisations that continues to safeguards their priorities and interest, therefore chose not to participate in an International eco-system of credentialing. However members can continue to train with other organisations for specialised workshops or at the Instructor levels to develop their competence and appreciation for different curriculums and experts.

(Jieke) Jacob Van Ram is the founder of Singapore Krav Maga Force and the Singapore Kickboxing Club. In 1999, he started his Martial Arts Journey and was a 3-time, Youth Medalist in the Club, National Tournament and Tertiary Tournament. He has 21 Years of experience in the Martial Arts, and is qualified in Kickboxing, MMA, Krav Maga, Wrestling, Taekwondo and Muay Thai Fitness. He has trained thousands of Martial Artists that have successfully achieved their Black belts and senior ranks and he continuously strives for excellence in himself and of his students.
